Neal Muhilly has over 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Neal’s practice specialties have included strategic planning, new product launch, epidemiology and forecasting, scientific assessment, promotional optimization, physician influence mapping, and corporate partnering. Neal’s extensive and broad therapeutic expertise and strategic planning compliment the offerings of Tessellon as well as add great value to clients in need of market strategy beyond the patient numbers and forecast models.
Neal earned an M.S. in Management from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Biology from Holy Cross College. Previously, Neal was at Mallinckrodt Medical Inc. as Director of Marketing and Strategic Planning for the newly formed Cardiology Division and was promoted to Global Vice President / General Manager. While at Mallinckrodt, Neal strategically led the repositioning of their lead cardiology product as a premium priced market leader as well as globally launched the first in class ultrasound agents. He has held positions of increasing responsibility in the pharmaceutical industry in sales / sales management, marketing, marketing research, corporate development, and strategic planning. Prior to joining Tessellon, Neal spent the last 15 years with KantarHealth/Mattson Jack with his last position as Senior Vice President, Global Accounts. As part of Global Accounts, Neal coordinated complex, multi-disciplinary projects for three big pharma clients. His tenure at KantarHealth enabled him to work with all facets of consulting and gain a thorough understanding of developing a strategy from the onset of scientific concept to life-cycle management. The extent of his knowledge in the healthcare industry is a rare and valuable offering.
